Grounded in rigorous social science research and evidence-based best practices, NORC delivers customized approaches that address your unique challenges and drive measurable results. We specialize in engaging adult learners and facilitating impactful learning experiences, both in-person and virtually.
What We Do
NORC provides comprehensive support across the entire training and technical assistance lifecycle, from initial needs assessment to sustained implementation and evaluation. Our collaborative approach strengthens individual, organizational, grantee, and community capacity through:
- Conceptualization: Defining clear goals and strategies based on evidence and best practices.
- Community Engagement: Centering community voice to co-create customized solutions such as 1:1 training and technical assistance, train-the-trainer, learning collaboratives, communities of practice, and participatory data parties and sensemaking.
- Research and Design: Developing innovative solutions through web interactives, webinars, simulations, and videos—all using adult-learning principles and instructional design to create compelling content that supports specific objectives and meets learners' needs.
- Content Development: Creating engaging, accessible, and culturally relevant materials to generate and sustain change. We implement diverse solutions—from toolkits for rural audiences and health center guidebooks to COVID-19 nursing home resources—leveraging advanced data visualization techniques that transform complex information into compelling infographics, journey maps, and toolkits.
- Implementation: Providing hands-on support to ensure successful program delivery.
- Evaluation: Measuring program effectiveness and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
We maintain a pool of highly experienced subject matter experts, ensuring that our services are tailored and meet the highest quality standards. In addition to research, evaluation, and communication staff, we also have Certified Health Education Specialists (CHES®) on staff who can develop materials and resources that address individual, organizational, and community health needs.
