Leveraging Member Experience Research to Enhance Medicare and Medicaid

As policymakers and stakeholders continue to iterate on health care delivery reforms, considering the beneficiary experience is crucial. NORC researchers are involved in a variety of initiatives that aim to generate a better understanding of members’ health care experiences.

In this video, principal research scientist Rebecca Catterson discusses how survey and qualitative methods are used to elevate the voices of Americans covered by Medicaid, Medicare, and Marketplace plans. She leads several of NORC’s projects examining the experience of members amidst coverage changes, including dual-eligible populations and individuals transitioning from Medicaid to marketplace coverage.
