CHICAGO, June 26, 2026 — NORC at the University of Chicago has expanded our presence in the Pacific region with the opening of offices in Koror, Palau, and Barrigada, Guam. These new workspaces are located within the Palau Ministry of Education and the Guam Department of Education.

Established through collaborative agreements with both agencies this spring, the offices support ongoing collaboration and day-to-day engagement with education leaders and staff.

NORC continues to support projects that work to strengthen educational outcomes, data-informed decision-making, and organizational capacity throughout the Pacific, including the Regional Educational Laboratory Pacific (REL Pacific) and the Pacific West Comprehensive Center. Our new offices build on that impact by creating additional opportunities to deliver responsive technical assistance, applied research, evaluation, and capacity-building activities in direct partnership with education leaders across the region.

“Our agreements with Guam and Palau reflect the strong relationships built through years of collaboration across education, youth, health, governance, and development initiatives.”
