Society for Research on Educational Effectiveness (SREE) 2026 Conference
September 23-26 • Baltimore, Maryland
NORC researchers will share a broad range of education research at the SREE 2026 Conference, contributing to conversations about how rigorous evidence can inform educational programs, policy, and practice.
This year’s conference theme, Education and Public Trust: Evidence and Accountability in a Changing Landscape, underscores the importance of rigorous research for informed decisions in education. NORC’s presentations will examine how evidence can improve our understanding of educational programs, practices, and outcomes—from intervention effectiveness and teaching approaches to assessment, teacher retention, and evidence-based decision-making.
NORC’s featured research examines rural science and math teacher retention, an innovative writing program, and the impact of a civic action curriculum on youth. Our presentations will also explore educational measurement, the use of economic evidence, and identification and access in special education.
These studies demonstrate NORC’s commitment to producing rigorous, actionable research that addresses real-world challenges in education and provides evidence to support better decisions for students, educators, schools, and communities.
