NAMD 2026 Fall Conference
October 21-23  •  National Harbor, Maryland

The National Association of Medicaid Directors (NAMD) will host its 2026 Fall Conference in National Harbor, Maryland.

The conference brings together the people who run and shape Medicaid: state Medicaid directors, federal officials, insurance companies that manage Medicaid coverage for states, researchers, consultants, technology companies, and service providers. Together, they will examine emerging policy and operational challenges and exchange perspectives on the future of state Medicaid programs.

NORC’s participation will center on engaging with state and federal leaders and industry partners on evolving Medicaid priorities, sharing relevant research and evaluation insights, and exploring how evidence can inform policy development, program design, and implementation.

NORC brings extensive experience supporting state and federal agencies through rigorous research, evaluation, and technical expertise. Our Health Care Programs team works across Medicaid policy, delivery system and payment reform, maternal and child health, behavioral health, workforce development, and program evaluation.

Our work includes evaluating Section 1115 waivers, reviewing how states deliver Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnostic, and Treatment (EPSDT) services, and studying innovations in maternal health and changes to behavioral health care. Through these efforts, NORC generates actionable evidence to help policymakers assess program effectiveness, understand implementation challenges, and inform decisions that affect access, quality, and outcomes for Medicaid enrollees.
