Praveen specializes in translating complex health data into clear, actionable insights for policymakers and state partners. He brings expertise in quantitative analysis, survey research, program evaluation, and a strong focus on California’s health care landscape. Praveen navigates technical data challenges, produces high-quality analytic deliverables, and communicates results in ways that support informed decision-making to his clients.

Praveen has managed multi-stream analytic projects for the California Department of Health Care Access and Information (HCAI), guiding teams to deliver rigorous, timely, and policy-relevant findings. He has worked on projects focused on Medicaid financial oversight (for CMCS), cost and market impact reviews (for CA OCHA), and large-scale survey analysis (for CMS).

Before joining NORC, Praveen built a strong foundation in applied public health and led a project in collaboration with the UC Davis Arboretum and Public Garden. The project combined survey design, field data collection, and behavioral analytics to inform community health programming.
