NORC VP Don Jang Chosen as American Statistical Association Section Chair-Elect

CHICAGO, August 29, 2022 – NORC at the University of Chicago is delighted to announce that Don Jang has been elected as the 2023 chair-elect of the American Statistical Association’s Survey Research Methods Section. Jang will be chair-elect through 2023 and serve as chair in 2024.

As a vice president in NORC’s Statistics & Data Science department, Jang is responsible for leading the survey analytics team that helps data collections meet the demands of timeliness, quantity, and quality and bringing advanced analytics to all NORC project offerings.

Jang has more than 25 years of experience directing large-scale national statistical projects and methodological research associated with federal statistics programs.
