NORC is proud to support Veterans through impactful research and meaningful employment.
NORC at the University of Chicago is proud to announce that we have been awarded the 2026 Military-Friendly Employer designation. This recognition honors organizations that demonstrate exceptional commitment to recruiting, hiring, and supporting Veterans and military families through meaningful employment opportunities and comprehensive programs.
Military Friendly uses a data-driven methodology to measure an organization’s commitment, effort, and success in creating sustainable, meaningful benefits for the military community. Organizations earning this designation are evaluated on their recruitment practices, new hire retention, employee advancement, and workplace culture. Over 1,500 organizations compete annually for this recognition.
At NORC, we value the strength, leadership, and expertise of our military Veterans. Veterans represent a vital part of our community, and their service enriches our organization with exceptional leadership and technical skills. Through Veteran-focused employee programs and research on issues impacting active-duty service members and Veterans, we actively support and celebrate the remarkable contributions of our military community.
