Naomi Greene
Naomi has more than a decade of experience designing and evaluating public health research. Her work integrates epidemiologic methods, advanced quantitative analysis, and mixed‑methods approaches to assess the effectiveness of health initiatives and inform stakeholder decision‑making. Naomi brings deep expertise in study design, survey development, data analysis, and protocol oversight, as well as in leading multidisciplinary teams and managing client-centered research efforts. She translates complex study findings into clear, practical, and valuable insights for federal agencies, national organizations, and community partners.
Naomi directs and contributes to several national evaluations focused on health communication, maternal health, and injury prevention. She serves as project director for multiple YMCA of the USA initiatives, leading mixed‑methods and longitudinal studies assessing water safety communication tools and swim instruction models, including programming tailored to children with autism spectrum disorder. These evaluations provide evidence to support program refinement and large-scale implementation.
Naomi also serves as protocol and compliance Lead for the NIH All of Us Research Program. In this role, she oversees protocol development and revisions, IRB submissions, and incident reporting, and ensures alignment between approved research protocols and operational systems. She works closely with NIH compliance and policy offices to support effective participant engagement and system oversight.
Prior to joining NORC, Naomi was a cancer prevention fellow at the National Cancer Institute, where she led multiple research projects examining alcohol use and cancer outcomes and contributed to agency-wide research priorities. She has conducted collaborative research and technical assistance with public health settings including the New Mexico Department of Health and the Council of State and Territorial Epidemiologists. Naomi has authored numerous peer‑reviewed publications in leading public health and medical journals including Survey Practice, Cancer Epidemiology, Biomarkers and Prevention, Public Health Reports, and American Journal of Preventive Medicine.
