Lauren is a senior research director with extensive experience managing large-scale, multi-faceted health care-related projects and surveys. She has over 10 years of experience in project management and data governance and has been involved in many aspects of survey research, including sample design, questionnaire development and testing, interviewer training, data collection management, and data delivery.

Lauren is currently the IT and data delivery lead of the National Social Life, Health, and Aging Project (NSHAP), a longitudinal study that integrates survey and biomeasure data collection to examine health and social relationships of older adults. She has expertise in survey design, testing, methodology, and analysis, as well as in the integration of survey data collection as part of large mixed-methods evaluation projects.

During her time at NORC, Lauren has worked on a variety of projects, specializing in multiple modes of data collection. Prior projects include Examining Policies Influencing Rural Latino Health Study (PIRLH), the Connect for Cancer Prevention Study, the National Social Life, Health & Aging COVID-19 Study, the 2018 STD Clinic Study, and the National Immunization Surveys (NIS). She has co-authored papers and presentations on data collection topics such as sampling strategies, outreach methods, mode preference, and gaining cooperation.
