Caitlin Carroll Oppenheimer Named New Senior Vice President, Will Lead the Public Health Department at NORC at the University of Chicago

Press Release

06/08/2015, Chicago, IL.– Caitlin Carroll Oppenheimer has been appointed senior vice president of the Public Health department at the independent research institution, NORC at the University of Chicago.

“Caitlin Oppenheimer emerged as the clear choice to lead NORC’s Public Health department,” said Michael Davern, executive vice president of research, who explains that the decision followed an exhaustive national search. “We engaged a leading executive search firm that connected us with a group of very experienced candidates from across the country. While we found all of the candidates extremely qualified, Caitlin’s talent and experience impressed the committee,” said Davern. “She has been a major contributor to the development of a portfolio of work that has established the robust Public Health department that exists today, and she is a valuable participant in key corporate initiatives and strategic projects benefitting the entire organization.
