Vicki Wilmer

Vicki oversees long-term planning and day-to-day survey operations, with an emphasis on large field data collection projects and longitudinal surveys.

Vicki has over 20 years of experience working on all aspects of survey research projects, on both small and large field studies, central and decentralized phone studies, and data collection by web. She oversees all of the operational key components of data collection activities, including staff recruitment and training, budgeting, monitoring production against projections, systems development and support, reporting, data delivery, and client management.

Vicki has worked most recently on two of NORC’s flagship surveys, the National Longitudinal Surveys of Youth, 1979 and 1997 and the National Survey of Early Care and Education 2012 and 2019.

Prior to Vicki’s 20 years at NORC, Vicki worked as a Health Educator and Community Based Prevention Coordinator at a county health department and a local nonprofit. In these roles, she supervised staff, developed and implemented community education programs, conducted site visits, and provided technical assistance. She also managed reporting requirements for federal and state-funded programs.
