Felicia B. LeClere is a Senior Fellow in NORC's Health Care Department. She works as research coordinator for the department on multiple projects including the National Immunization Survey and the National Children's Study. She has 20 years of experience in survey design and practice as well as public health research. Her primary interests are in data dissemination and the support of scientific research through the development of scientific infrastructure. She has conducted research on the health of minorities and immigrants as well as health disparities. Her work has been sponsored by the National Institute of Child Health & Human Development and the National Institute on Drug Abuse.
LeClere has published her research with collaborators in Social Forces, American Journal of Public Health, the Journal of the American Statistical Association, and the Journal of Health and Social Behavior. Prior to joining NORC, LeClere was an associate research scientist at the Institute for Social Research at the University of Michigan, where she headed the data archives Data Sharing for Demographic Research and the National Addiction and HIV Data Archive Program. She also received funding to test a cloud-based restricted data access portal.
Before joining the University of Michigan, LeClere was on the sociology faculty at the University of Notre Dame and the director of the Laboratory for Social Research.
