CHICAGO, November 17, 2021—Vadim Volos has joined NORC at the University of Chicago as the new vice president for the Public Affairs and Media Research department. Volos will support NORC’s research on public opinion and elections, survey methodology, and media attitudes. He will guide and manage survey research on topics dealing with public affairs and help present complex issues to a wide variety of audiences.

“Effectively communicating data-driven research takes foundational knowledge and practice that Vadim has illustrated throughout his many years in public affairs research,” said Trevor Tompson, senior vice president of the Public Affairs and Media Research department. “Vadim is a skilled researcher with unique experience conducting public affairs and thought leadership research in countries around the globe, and he will be a tremendous addition to our team at NORC."
