NORC Drive-Thru Hiring Event in Albuquerque Seeks Telephone Interviewers

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – NORC at the University of Chicago is hiring telephone interviewers to work at its state-of-the-art telephone survey center in Albuquerque. The job offers competitive pay, flexible hours, casual dress, a friendly work environment, and opportunities for advancement.

“We’re looking to hire friendly and personable individuals as telephone interviewers who can reach out to people around the United States over the phone,” said Annette Griego, call center manager at NORC. “We’re inviting job seekers in the community interested in meaningful work to attend this event to get more information about the telephone interviewer position.”

NORC is recruiting employees to work onsite in our Telephone Center or to work from home after completing onsite training. Excellent starting wage of $14.00 per hour ($11.00 base pay plus $3.00 COVID 2020 Premium Pay) for regular interviewers, and $14.50 per hour ($11.50 base pay plus $3.00 COVID 2020 Premium Pay) for Spanish/English bilingual interviewers.

WHAT: NORC at the University of Chicago is hosting a Drive-Thru Hiring Event at its Albuquerque location on March 20, 2021.

  • The “Grab and Go” event will follow guidelines and safety precautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
  • Job seekers will remain in their vehicle as they drive through, roll down their window, and take a pre-filled bag of resources from someone wearing a mask and gloves.
  • The bag will include brochures with information about NORC and its employment opportunities, and application instructions to be reviewed at home.
  • Spanish bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged.
