The World Association for Public Opinion Research (WAPOR) will be holding its 65th Annual Conference June 14-16 in Hong Kong. Several NORC researchers will be in attendance to present. This year’s conference is dedicated to continued research in public opinion and how it shapes society. Set to take place at Hong Kong University, this year’s conference marks WAPOR’s first gathering outside of Europe and North America.

Tom W. Smith, NORC Senior Fellow and Director of the Center for the Study of Politics and Society, is the current President of WAPOR.

Trevor Tompson, Principal Research Scientist and Director of the Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research, is the current Chair of the WAPOR Publications Committee.
