The Society for Longitudinal and Life Course Studies International Conference

The Society for Longitudinal and Life Course Studies International Conference will take place July 9 - July 11 in Milan, Italy. Karen Grigorian, Thomas B. Hoffer, Tafaya Ransom and Lance A. Selfa of NORC's Education and Child Development department will present a paper session on Exploring Alternative Measures of Doctoral Underemployment at the event.

Many areas of longitudinal and life course studies will be covered at conference including: physical, psychological, social developmental and aging processes across life stages; methods and findings of cohort studies; other sources of longitudinal data; international comparisons; household and income dynamics; gene-environment interactions; ‘mixed’ and comparative methods; innovative methodology in design, measurement, data management, analysis and research practice (quantitative and qualitative).
