PROJECTS
Problem Gambling in California

The objective of this study is to provide information about the public's knowledge of available resources for addressing gambling problems.  The findings will assist California in its efforts to improve programs that help those who are adversely affected by gambling.

NORC was chosen to assess the extent and impact of problem gambling in the state's adult population through a survey of 7,500 adults.  NORC staff designed and programmed the questionnaire, drew the sample, conducted the interviews, and analyzed the data.
