The State and Local Government Information (EEO-4) Survey sponsored by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) is collected biennially on odd years. The survey is mandatory for jurisdictions with more than 100 employees and the data are used for a variety of purposes including enforcement, self-assessment by employers, and research. NORC has been selected to manage the data collection for the 2007 EEO-4 Survey. The EEO-4 Survey is a web survey with data upload, computer printout, and paper submission options. Data collection has begun and the filing deadline is September 30, 2007.
