Evaluation of Common Ground. ​​The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation’s (RWJF) Common Ground program builds upon previously funded initiatives to strengthen the public health system and accelerate innovative and effective use of quality improvement and information technology principles in public health. In 2006, RWJF funded 31 public health departments as Informatics Capacity (IC) and Requirements Development (RD) grantees to improve processes and information systems that support public health service delivery. More

Evaluation of the Beacon Cooperative Agreement Program. For the Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT (ONC),  NORC at the University of Chicago is designing and conducting an overarching evaluation of the Beacon Community Cooperative Agreement Program, a key program being implemented through the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act (HITECH), part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA). More

Evaluation of the State Health Information Exchange (HIE) Cooperative Agreement Program. NORC has been awarded a contract from the Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT (ONC) to conduct an evaluation of the State Health Information Exchange Cooperative Agreements Program. Under contract with the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), NORC is leading an effort to identify whether and how health IT can be used as a tool to improve access to high-quality oral health care for children enrolled in Medicaid and the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP).  More
