2011 National Survey of Children's Health. Sponsored by the Maternal and Child Health Bureau (MCHB) and coordinated through the National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS), the National Survey of Children’s Health (NSCH) is one of the largest surveys conducted at NORC, with approximately 1,800 interviews targeted for each state, the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands – a total of 93,600 interviews to be completed by early 2012.  More

Evaluation of the Use of Clinical Preventive Services and U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) Recommendations. The Agency for Health Care Research and Quality (AHRQ) contracted with NORC to study the implementation of the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) recommendations for clinical preventive services in four different health plans: a closed-panel health plan, open-panel health plan, hybrid health plan having both open- and closed-panel characteristics, and governmental health plan. More

Medicare Payment for Post-Acute Care Transfers. This study helped inform the expansion of Medicare’s post-acute care (PAC) transfer payment policy to additional DRG codes being considered by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services by providing objective analyses that highlight the perspective of rural hospitals.  More

Multiple System Utilization Among TRICARE Beneficiaries. This study seeks to describe the role of individual beneficiary choice for increased use of civilian care by analyzing outcomes and processes of care to determine if beneficiaries have care coordination problems.   More

Trends in Health Insurance Premiums. This study for the Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation (ASPE) in the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) aims to build a baseline data set for the years 2008-2011 from 30 states that will enable the HHS and others to evaluate the impact of the Affordable Care Act. More
