Representative Projects

A Dating Violence Prevention Program for Each Grade in Middle School. With support from the National Institute of Justice, NORC is conducting a three-year randomized multi-level experiment to evaluate the effectiveness of a multi-level longitudinal approach to dating violence and sexual harassment (DV/H) prevention programming for public middle school students from New York City (NYC).  More

Gates Foundation National College Ready Survey. NORC at the University of Chicago is currently conducting the first-ever survey of school leaders nationwide designed to better understand efforts to boost college-readiness of our public school students. More

National Longitudinal Survey of Youth - 1997. The National Longitudinal Survey of Youth, sponsored by the U.S. Department of Labor, is the youth-focused component of the National Longitudinal Survey Program used to gather information on the labor market experiences of American men and women.  More

School Improvement Status and Outcomes for Students with Disabilities Study (SWD). The focus of the study is on evaluating the effectiveness of improvement efforts in schools that have failed repeatedly to make adequate yearly progress for students with disabilities in particular grades and subjects.  More
