One funder's story

Angelique Power, Senior Program Officer for the Joyce Foundation, will be presenting "So, you want to work at a Foundation? One funder's story" as part of the Cultural Policy Workshop this Tuesday, January 15.

In this informal discussion come meet and chat with Angelique Power, Senior Program Officer for the Joyce Foundation. Angelique guides Joyce's Culture Program, which distributes $2 million annually. She focuses on strengthening and diversifying arts organizations, building capacity within the arts sector, and investing in the creative capital of artists of color through the Joyce Awards.

Ms. Power came to Joyce with more than 15 years' experience in communications and outreach, most recently serving as director of communications and community engagement at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago. She also developed philanthropic marketing efforts as a senior manager in community relations at Target Corporation.
