The May 2007 issue of the professional journal Psychiatric Services cited data from the General Social Survey (GSS) in two articles: one about depression (58:626-631) and one about Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) (58:632-635). The data for these articles came from special modules of the GSS conducted in 1996 and 2002. NORC has conducted the GSS since 1972 with sponsorship by the National Science Foundation and others.
