The Louisville Courier-Journal featured a story in its December 13, 2006 local news “neighborhood” section about the Making Connections Initiative sponsored by the Annie E. Casey Foundation.  The project is designed to improve the outcomes for families and children in tough or isolated neighborhoods. NORC is conducting the survey portion of the initiative and the project team is preparing to begin another round of data collection in Louisville. The story came about when the editor of the newspaper received a recruiting postcard about a NORC job fair and sent a reporter to follow up. Kudos to the savvy field recruitment team!
