Education Week (registration required) featured a very favorable review of the recently published two-volume set, Scale-up in Education, Ideas in Principle (vol. 1) and Issues in Practice (vol. 2),edited by Barbara Schneider and Sarah-Kay McDonald of the Data Research and Development Center. The February 28, 2007 edition of the weekly newsletter reviewed the books and their examination of what works in scaling up promising educational programs.
