Help for the Working Poor
A July 20, 2006 Providence Journal article on local programs for the working poor mentions the Annie E. Casey Foundation’s "Making Connections, Providence" project. The project seeks to improve outcomes for disadvantaged children by strengthening their families, improving their neighborhoods, and raising the quality of local services. NORC is part of the team that collected baseline data during 2002-2004. Follow-up data collection will continue through 2007.
