Happy Workers Won't Stray
Forbes Magazine writer Lisa LaMotta noted in a July 27, 2007 column that workers stay longer at large firms and that tenure at small firms is growing. The information comes from the National Longitudinal Survey of Youth and a special analysis of the data by the Office of Advocacy of the U.S. Small Business Administration. The data also show that firms that offer health benefits retain workers longer than those that do not.
