The General Social Survey (GSS) invites scholars to submit proposals for questions to be added to the 2012 round of the popular survey of American opinion. 

Proposals will be accepted on the basis of scientific quality and scholarly interest. Outside funding is not necessary to submit a proposal.  The deadline for submission is April 2, 2010.
