Jenny Kelly is a Vice President at NORC and oversees the Telephone Surveys and Support Operations (TSSO) department. Originally a statistician and survey research director, she now oversees all data collection by NORC involving mail and telephone, using NORC's 400-booth call center in Chicago, another 200 booths remotely distributed, and some some vendor partnerships, with an emphasis on innovation, best practice, and efficiency. Kelly's expertise includes survey design, questionnaire design, labor economics, performance measurement, and data analysis.
Kelly has nearly 3 decades of survey research experience, first in government with the Australia Bureau of Statisics (1984-1993) leaving as co-head of the NSW Statistical Consultancy service, then in market research with ACNielsen (1994-2001) during which time she was head of the Government and Social Research Unit , and finally with not-for-profit with NORC (1991-present).
