An Applicant is anyone who satisfies the following conditions:

1) has submitted an expression of interest in employment for a specific NORC-advertised position in the manner specified within the specified time frame (if any);

2) is considered by NORC for employment for a particular position;

3) meets the minimum qualifications for that position; and

4) at no point in the recruitment process (prior to receiving an offer of employment) indicates that he or she is no longer interested in the position.

Individuals who do not satisfy the above conditions are not considered Applicants for that position.  Individuals who submit unsolicited resumes also are not considered Applicants.

NORC reserves the right to search internal and external sources to find individuals who meet the minimum qualifications for any open position. If an individual who is found through such sources participates in a telephone screening conducted by a NORC recruiter, the individual will be considered an Applicant.
